We’re looking for a Senior Hosting Infrastructure Engineer to make our core product services more reliable, scalable, and efficient with eye toward future growth, while also helping build new internal processes to make our engineering teams more efficient.

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

- Zone A: $212,000-255,000
- Zone B: $200- $240,000
- Zone C: $186,700-224,000

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

- Create and test reliable cloud infrastructure services that support Webflow’s range of products.
- Lead initiatives to reduce triage load, increase reliability, and handle the growing scale of our customer’s needs.
- Employ tools like Pulumi, AWS, Cloudflare workers, Kubernetes, and more.
- Balance reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency concerns while refactoring and modernizing existing services.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver new solutions for services and ways of working that might not exist yet.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews with your team.
- Participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes.
- Enhance engineering speed and safety through standardized processes, automation, and cloud best practices.
- Mentor and teach junior engineers best practices and hard-earned lessons from your time as a developer.
- Give feedback to other teams on designs for tools and software solutions
About you:
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
You’ll thrive as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer if you:
- Have 8+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment that allows for little to no downtime.
- Hand-on experience building and scaling multi-region cloud environments on either AWS or GCP.
- Experience using Cloudflare workers and Cloudflare tooling.
- Experience with container-centric architectures built with tools like Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AK
