Summary:
The Company utilizes quantitative methods such as business simulations, data mining, modeling, and advanced statistical techniques to solve problems. The role provides data management, analysis, and insights within the Aftermarket Sales & Services Deployment team to support aftermarket growth commitments and reporting. The mission of the team is to enable services growth goals by transforming the way we serve our customers, providing insights to deliver an outstanding customer experience, and driving tool and service adoption and sales to users growth.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly on complex problems and provide solutions aligned with overall objectives.
- Perform all necessary data-related tasks, including data design, data quality, metadata management, data governance, or data architecture.
- Lead and evaluate business requirements impacting the enterprise, dealership partners, and other internal and external customers.
- Liaise with data creators to support project planning, training, guidance on standards, and the efficient creation/maintenance of high-quality data.
- Contribute to policies, procedures, and standards as well as technical requirements.
- Create the data management strategy and define continuous improvement goals for data quality, governance, and processes.
- Lead communication across various lines of businesses and technology partners to monitor, collect, review, and roadmap business data requirements and related technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with the latest data standards supported by the company, brand, and legal, information security (data security and privacy compliance).
- Lead the functional technology of the data management systems as they change with upgrades and new releases.
- Maintain existing data quality scorecard measurements, executing scorecards, resolving exceptions with data owners and source systems.
- Design robust, scalable database and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) solutions.
- Lead development of new data models for domains to be deployed including a logical data model, candidate source lists, and canonical formats.
- Lead the ETL & data ingestion specifications identifying source systems and solve technical and administrative problems during the ETL process.
- Lead data object pipeline specifications including detailed field-level mapping, business rules, data quality rules, etc.
- Create, update, and enhance metadata policies, processes, and catalogs.
- Drive alignment and coordination of data governance efforts.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics positions.
- Deep knowledge of aftermarket applications.
- Demonstrated experience in translating analysis to insights.
- Strong initiative to research and apply new methods to exceed customer expectations.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and leveraging data and insights to make recommendations and influence others.
- Highly organized with careful attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience leading the implementation of information processing and operation standards to protect and manage information assets.
- Consultation on information architecture concepts, disciplines, and practices.
- Experience with specific cloud service models such as AWS or Azure for Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Ability to increase capacity or add capabilities through cloud computing.
- Proven experience creating complex queries working with SQL.
- Proven experience working with ETL tools such as Talend and Alteryx.
- Proven experience working with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
